It looks like it's that time of the season of ghosts and ghouls. Angels and Demons will dine together. A devil or two share will the sunset with a contemperary jesus in flip flops and a tank top. For some odd reason, all of your favorite movie and t.v. characters parade the sidewalks of your neighborhood. The grim reaper is lurking about. You start to get intimidated by the figures in your neighbor's front yards. Curiousity gets the best of you, so you decide to daringly approach that man in a hockey suit sitting on the bench by the front door. "is he real? or is he just another body of hay?" you want to touch him to find out, but it takes you a lifetime to get the courage. And when you finally reach down, you are suddenly grabbed from behind! your heart drums the inside of your chest as you turn, only to descover that you are at the feet of non other than......ELVIS HIMSELF!
Halloween is such a hectic holiday for me. I like the holiday, it's just very hard for me to get enthusiastic about customes. I like as a child, I've a ninja, a ninja turle, a lion, alladin, an x-man or two, and probably a half a dozen batmans. Now a days, If it's not neccassary, I won't go out of my way to spend money on a costume, especially when now it's a little awkward to go tricker treating. If I want candy, my brother is usually willing to give me skittles on demand. This year, I feel a little ablogated to get a custome. A church college group I'm in is having a halloween party, and customes are required. I have a few options, I can be extreme, and be someone like David Bowie from Labrynth, or something simple, like a ghost. I've already scoped out target with my girlfriend and haven't head any luck. I think ultimately, I am going to end up being Harry Potter, cuz I get get a simple suit, and I can manipulate my hair to look like his
Halloween is such a crazy holiday. It was always my favorite holiday as a kid, next to christmas of course. nothing beats the cheerfullness, music, and decorations of christmas. oh and one more thing...presents!. However, I noticed an odd thing redarding presents. As a child, I would get 10 to 15 presents, which usually had my favorite action figures of that year. Now as an adult, I'm happy with one or two good presents, and even more specifically now, I'm especially happy when I am able to give presents to the people I care about. I guess I still have the little kid in me, because everychristmas morning, I get excited to see what I got. People's ideas of toys tend to change over the years, however. Instead of action figures, my toys now, are my instruments, and everything that comes along with that, such as guitar pedals, mics, amps, and so forth. The price of these toys are a drastic change to my old x-men figures, so I don't usually count on getting one of these for a presents. These are presents I have to buy myself.

This is a short poem I wrote about at a point in my life where I was questioning myself about certain religious aspects. certain question were going through my head and deep down, I was answering my own questions because I already knew the answers. I don't claim to be a poet or anything so don't expect it to be all that good.
Christianity Is Not A trend
"are we no more important than colors?
born from black stillness,
to white avid shudders?
living for today
unconcerned of others.
are we no more important than colors?"
we all have a purpose.
not just to live for ourselves,
but a pronounced desire
to stay conscious.
he who chooses
his own customs
will ultimately lose focus.
we all have a purpose.
"are we not but simply creatures?
evolving equally with nature,
only, dominant in our features?
living solely to survive,
and experience countless pleasures ?
are we not but simply creatures?"
If you don't know God, then disregard everything.
because he who believes in what's false,
will believe in anything.
there is but one truth,
explained in the Bible
it brakes me down
to see nonbelievers trembling.
If you don't Know God, then disregard everything.
"I'd like to know God, but i don't know where to begin.
All i know is,
birth is the beginning
and death is the end.
but to think life goes beyond that,
it's a thought hard to mend
I'd like to know God, but i don't know where to begin"
Christianity in not a trend.
There is no beginning, nor an end.
life is eternal.
If you don't have faith,
your life is full of pretend.
our purpose is to serve the lord.
for some it is to be a leader,
for other's it's simply to be a friend.
Jesus is our savior
we are forgiven only through him
